The N.I.T-FS provides an obligatory service to the Muslims of our community. Death is a reality that we all must face.
We have a team of dedicated volunteers which includes an Imam or Ustadah (for sisters) to support the family during a death. The team deals with all matters from collecting the deceased, sorting paperwork, arranging appointments at the registrars, ghusal, shrouding and burials. We also specialise in repatriations.

We have a fully equipped private ambulance and a hearse to transport the deceased in the most dignified manner.

Furthermore, N.I.T-FS provides support and guidance on:

• What to do when somebody passes away
• Who to contact
• Ghusl and Shroud workshops
• Training to become a Ghusl and Shroud Facilitator
• Bereavement Counselling
• Funeral Guidance Literature
